There is a need for a varied height from the furnishings mentioned especially with any high ceiling or decorative windows. A height several feet taller than your furniture that draws your eye upward completes the look and is more balanced. A tree can solve this beautifully. The tree may be large in height but takes up very little space with the right container. Maybe a tall and narrow container to add interest yet take up only 18″ of floor space or lower pots usually 18″-20″ of floor space.
We will measure so the walking area is clear with no branches in the way. We arch the limbs to “frame” artwork or windows yet not intrude on the space but rather accent it. Stairways are one of the most neglected areas yet are one of the prime areas for a tree. A real statement!
